Get Loose With The Blue Goose Diablo

I just discovered Blue Goose a few months ago. Since then, it has become one of my new favorite Tex Mex restaurants. Recently, I decided to try one their margaritas called The Diablo. I know; sounds pretty scary. However, isn’t it fascinating that a margarita is such a year round adult beverage. When was the last time you heard someone say, “It’s just too cold to have a margarita today”? Never.

Let’s get back to The Diablo though. It’s Blue Goose’s award-winning, classic margarita, mixed in with a potent red sangria swirl. I’m not exactly sure why The Diablo has a limit of two per person. Nevertheless, it’s worth the one glass or two to indulge in. The great thing about this drink is it has just the right ratio of tartness to sweetness. Plus, you can taste the alcohol without it being overpowering.

The price point for The Diablo is $10 and it comes in a slender, medium-sized glass. The Diablo may not taste as dangerous as its name suggest, but it easily dodges disappointment. If you find yourself at a Blue Goose restaurant, you should definitely give it a try!

Bottoms up….it’s Thirsty Thursday!
